It's been a while...but we've been busy having a great summer! My babies *love* to be outside. The nieces are here nearly everyday and this makes for pretty much the best summer vacation my kids could hope for.
I took the kids to the library, where they were just *shocked* to find out about the summer reading rewards program. Thank you, Public Library, for the bribing of the children. I jest not; whatever it takes to get those brilliant little minds engaged, engrossed, enlivened, and thus more brilliant, is good by me. Afterward, we went for shave ice where the kids' lips/teeth/tongue/and-who-knows-what-internal-organs were happily dyed blue, red and orange.

We went up the canyon the other night to roast these MASSIVE marshmallows (have you seen them?? they're crazy! and they take forever to roast) so the boys were in heaven. Sugar and the Great Outdoors, now *that's* a good combination.
We had a very sad little fire. That may have been the reason it took 10 minutes to roast just one stupid giant marshmallow. Dunno. But it was fun, even if my 5 years of Girl Scouts training did fail me.

Hey I am runnin the summer reading rewards program here at my local library. That's my job for the summer! I'm glad your kids are doing it too!
Yeah for Summer! The kids are sooo cute and the little one is getting big quick, just like our little Noah :(... BTW- Bring some of that warm weather our way. It's been cold and overcast (most days), here in Seattle!
I didn't know you were a blogger :) Now I have somewhere good for tips, I'll have to go check out the library with the kids. And those giant marshmallows are our fave!
