family reunion 2009

kait, kai, keo & i jumped into the car in july and drove up to spokane, my hometown, for a family reunion. T. & jojo decided to stay behind and fish. lame. we all regretted that decision about five minutes into the trip. but the trip was fantastic! montana is about the most beautiful place on this earth, i do believe. especially montana in the early early early morning.

kai, once we finally got there. he was delighted to be out of the car and to see the cousins he never sees.

keo had this awful cold sore on his chin. we tried everything to keep it dry so it could heal in spite of mr. drooly face. nothing worked. even gauze-ing it up like this; he ripped that off in, like, three seconds. might've been the bow he didn't like, who knows? on a side note: look at those angel eyes.

somewhere in northwestern montana, we found these gargantuan cherries. the picture doesn't do it justice - they were massive. and delicious.

kai was such a good sport! it was a long drive and we did it all in 48 hours. but it was so worth it. he cuddled up in the backseat and kept keo company and took lots of pictures.

this is my auntie's dog. yikes. kai just loves dogs and so he took plenty of pictures of this one and it's brother. this was the least pretty of the pictures, they really are kinda cute.
