Refreshed

Spring is on its way! I always get fooled right about this time of year by the beautiful desert blue skies and perfect warm weather. Then that same desert state viciously pulls the rug from under my feet and produces a nasty blizzard. Year after year, however, I get my hopes up and convince myself that spring has sprung. Oh well.
T. fixed all the bikes this weekend and I cleaned out the storage unit called my trunk and made room for baby's stroller. So from now until late September, we are going to the canyon every week if not every day, snow or shine. I say bring on the nasty spiders that invade when it warms up, my flip flops can take it. And from now on, spam musubi, some carrots, and capri suns (100% juice and that's a fruit, I don't care what the pediatrician says) count as a real dinner, because it's packable. I guess I have a little cabin fever. That can happen when you work in a dungeon with no windows and your children have absolutely no respect for the painstakingly color-coded Lego bins under their beds and think that an insanely cluttered room is charming. Have you ever stepped on a small Lego? It can make you bleed.

So anyway, welcome Spring, I love you!
