Well, we had our ultrasound last week and it's aNOTHER boy! I only cried a little - okay, a LOT. But I am so happy because everything looks great; he's perfectly healthy and that's what really matters. That night I had to take Jo to the hospital for the second time in one month and as we were waiting for the doctor to come pull a massive splinter out from under his fingernail (does that just make you squirm to even think about? They wouldn't even treat him at the instacare because they said he needed to be sedated just to be numbed just to pull out the splinter. It was awful, but we got a fantastic doctor at the ER. It's all better now and they even let him keep the splinter to show off...) I thought, "wow, this is what my future holds." Not that boys are so much more prone to ER visits, but actually, boys are SO much more prone to ER visits. And violence, I think. This is actually a picture where I told them to make a silly face and this is what we got:

They didn't even plan it, it just looks like they are trying to hurt each other. They were very pleased with this picture.
Anyway, another boy. We'll survive, I think. And we'll have three beautiful missionaries. And I'll get three daughters (in-law) well after the terror of teenage emotional trauma that "real" daughters bring.
Our lives have been just a bit hectic for a month or so now. I have new pictures to post and fun stories of trips to the ER, Yellowstone, Seattle, filming a short in one weekend, school starting, birthdays, and a bunch of other stuff to keep us on our toes. I'll get around to uploading pictures this month if I'm lucky.
